Forgiveness

Forgiveness Does Not
Erase Consequences

We are often told when we sin, that if we just ask for forgiveness God forgives us and throws our sin into a sea of forgetfulness, never to come up again. But forgiveness does not erase consequences. The terms forgiveness and no consequences are mutually exclusive. While God does forgive us when we confess our sins, the seeds of what we’ve planted always produces a harvest, in some for or other We ALWAYS reap what we sow, more than we sow, and oftentimes later than we sow; but we will DEFINITELY REAP!

THERE IS HOPE

When we look back on David’s story and his sin with Bathsheba, it caused many to suffer, yet, God still forgave him. Despite the disciplinary actions David endured, he knew God  loved him no matter what he had done. David knew God loved him unconditionally.
